TWHS Homecoming Week: September 22 - 27

The Senior Class is in need of a few more vehicles for the Homecoming Parade. If you have, or know someone who has, a convertible or a pick-up truck that could transport attendants, Superintendent and administrators, please email Lori Poleway at lpoleway@worthington.k12.oh.us. The parade is Friday, September 26, and all drivers need to be at the school at 4:30 p.m., parade begins at 5:30 p.m. and will end approximately at 6:00 p.m.

Monday, September 22: Spirit Week Dress-up Day: GussStrong
Tuesday, September 23: Spirit Week Dress-up Day: Ugly Sweater
Wednesday, September 24: Spirit Week Dress-up Day: Tourist
- Powderpuff Football Game, and Bonfire in stadium from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.
Thursday, September 25: Spirit Week Dress-up Day: America
Friday, September 26: Spirit Week Dress-up Day: TWHS Spirit
- 4:30 p.m.: Parade line-up begins
- 6:00 p.m.: Parade ends in front of the football stadium
- 7:30 p.m.: Kick-off
- 8:30 p.m. (approx.): Announcement of Homecoming King & Queen and Senior Attendant during halftime
Thomas Worthington High School will have a Homecoming Parade on Friday, September 26, 2014. The parade will begin at 5:30 p.m. at the Evening Street Elementary School parking lot and will end at the TWHS football stadium at approximately 6:00 p.m.
Route: Evening Street Elementary School parking lot; south on Evening Street; cross Rt. 161; west on New England Avenue; south on Farrington; north on Seabury Drive; cross Rt. 161; end at the front of the TWHS football stadium.
To facilitate the parade, the streets along the parade route will be posted “No Parking” between 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. The temporary road closure will begin at 5:30 p.m. and reopen immediately following the end of the parade.
People involved: Dr. Tucker, members of the Worthington Schools Board of Education, TWHS administrators, TWHS Marching Band, TWHS Cheerleaders, Homecoming Court and Queen/King candidates; TWHS Fall Sports teams; TWHS Cardinal Mascot.
People who want to watch the parade along the parade route should park at either TWHS, Kilbourne Middle School, or behind the Dairy Queen on N. High Street.
Introduction of the Homecoming Court and the Queen and King candidates will be announced at the half-time show of the football game. The football game begins at 7:30 p.m.
You are all invited to watch the parade and attend our Homecoming Football game to cheer our Cardinals on to victory!

TWHS Homecoming Dance tickets may be purchased online at the following address: https://www.
- Homecoming Dance, 8:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. at TWHS gym
- Doors open at 8:15 p.m.
- Parents are asked to pick up students promptly at 11:00 p.m.
